segaclassics: MULTIPLAYERS COOPERATIVOS DO MEGA DRIVE

Como o Mega Drive possui uma quantidade gigantesca de jogos multiplayer, apresentaremos aqui apenas os jogos com multiplayer por excelência: o cooperativo simultâneo. Provavelmente ele é o console com maior número de jogos nessa categoria em todos os tempos. O Mega Drive também destaca-se nos jogos multiplayer com modo versus, incluindo alguns revolucionários como Virtua Racing, Herzog Zwei, Ethernal Champions e Road Rash II, que não serão incluídos aqui. Excluiremos também os jogos de esporte e corrida, caso contrário a lista dobraria de tamanho, mesmo restringindo para apenas jogos com multiplayer cooperativo. É sabido que o Mega Drive foi campeão nos jogos de esporte em sua geração e que muitos deles incluiam o modo cooperativo simultâneo, começando pelo revolucionário Lakers versus Celtics e passando por séries de sucesso que surgiram no sistema como FIFA Soccer, NHL, Joe Montana, etc. É interessante notar como a grande parte é de games lançados exclusivamente para o Mega Drive. Mesmo no caso de jogos multi-plataforma o Mega geralmente tinha as melhores versões, como em The Lost Vikings, Joe & Mac, Micro Machines 2: Turbo Tournamente e Rock'n Roll Racing. O Mega Drive também foi revolucionário por oferecer a possibilidade de jogar games no modo multiplayer pela internet, mas também não abordaremos esse aspecto aqui. Mesmo com todas essas restrições temos uma lista de 105 jogos!!! Eles estão ordenados segundo sua qualidade, considerando critérios técnicos como jogabilidade, gráficos, efeitos sonoros, músicas e dificuldade e acompanhados de suas respectivas notas. E uma coisa que pouca gente sabe: Thunder Force IV permite que dois jogadores controlem a nave simultaneamente (como se houvesse co-piloto) e por isso foi incluído. Incluímos 2 jogos de luta chineses lançados sem licença, por serem jogos originais. Se fossem incluídos os jogos de esporte essa lista dobraria e chegaria a uns 200 jogos, o que corresponde a quase 20% dos jogos lançados para o sistema! Dessa forma o Mega Drive é provavelmente o console com maior número de jogos multi-player cooperativo de todos os tempos! E isso mesmo sem contar com jogos add-ons como Sega-CD e 32X ou com sua compatibilidade com o Master System. Como o concorrente snes era muito lento a ponto de prejudicar todos seus jogos de ação, havia ainda maior dificuldade de suportar jogos com cooperação simultânea. Esperamos que esta lista esteja completa! Este ano mais um jogo de cooperação será lançado para o Mega Drive pela Watermelon (a mesma de Pier Solar).
