Top 70 Sega-CD / Mega-CD Games
With 216 games the Sega Genesis add-on was more successful than just about every contemporary consoles, both in terms of the number of units sold and the number of games released. In addition, it should be remembered that it is an add-on to Genesis / Mega Drive and adds these 216 titles to the already huge library of that console of more than 1,000 games. Considering the sales of other add-ons and the number of games released, the Sega CD can be considered the best selling and most successful add-on of all time:

Wrongly advertised only by FMV or arcade games, in fact most of the best Sega-CD / Mega-CD games are adventures and RPGs. Unfortunately, many of them were restricted to Japan, partly because of the large amount of voice acting that would need to be dubbed into English or other languages.
